Bourgogne Côtes d'Auxerre 2024 - Domaine Verret

Burgundy

Pinot Noir

The Bourgogne Côtes d’Auxerre Rouge from Domaine Verret is a magnificent example of Pinot Noir. It primarily offers its generous fruit, followed by more subtle floral notes. Over time, it reveals the ephemeral world of spices. The palate, delicate and elegant, confirms the Burgundy origins of this wine. Blackberry and cherry evolve on the palate from pits to fresh fruits and finally to jam, always reflecting the terroir. The finish leaves these notes lingering on the palate as if they never want to disappear.

For a delightful tasting experience, you can pair this wine with grilled andouillettes. While pairing it with coq au vin is a natural choice, trying it with monkfish in Armoricaine sauce or a grilled tuna steak might pleasantly surprise you.
